Acting on a tip off, a police team headed by DSP Krishna Murari Prasad raided various hideouts located in Barra Pahari, a hilly area, and unearthed ten illegal minigun factories, Superintendent of Police (SP) Ashish Bharti said.
As many as 26 automatic pistols and ten extra magazines were seized from the spot, he said adding ten persons have been arrested on charge of possessing illegal weapons.
The SP said a probe was on to find whether the arms manufacturers has had any links with the Maoists.
