Three persons were killed when a private bus on Bulandshahr-Anoopshahr route collided with a roadside tree near Dugrao village yesterday, SHO Vimal Kishore Yadav said.
While, conductor of the bus, Suresh (30) and two fellow passengers died on the spot, more than twelve persons were injured, 10 of whom were referred to higher care centre in Meerut, Yadav said, adding that breakdown of the steering axle might be the reason behind the accident.
Meanwhile, a trader Sharad (32), his wife Nisha (30) and 11-year-old son died on Meerut-Bulandshahr road during the wee hours yesterday when their car was hit by an unkhown vehicle, police said.
