Additional District and Sessions Hisar Madhu Khanna Lali convicted Mohinder Kumar, a resident of Mandi Sainian, Hansi, yesterday.
Besides, the accused was also ordered to pay a fine of Rs 5,000 and in case of default he would further undergo an imprisonment of one month.
According to the complaint, Mohinder, a neighbour of victim, came to her house when she was alone on April 16, 2012. He asked her to accompany him to Nahar Kothi, nearby place, where her mother was waiting for her.
After committing the crime, he abandoned the victim at Nahar Kothi.
