Tension mounts after youth stoned to death

Tension prevailed in a village here today after an 18-year-old youth was stoned to death by unidentified persons, police said.
The incident was reported in the district's Kitas village in the Ratanpuri police station area, they added.
According to police, the incident took place in the afternoon as the youth, a vendor at Khatauli, was returning home to Fulet village along with his brother.
A manhunt had been launched to nab the culprits, police said, adding that the brother managed to escape the attack and had returned home.
