"We see huge opportunity for us with radio access network led communication service growth in India being feeders to smartphones. We will also add 50 employees to our Kolkata service centre," TEOCO Director and Country Manager (India) Srinivas Bhogle said here today.
Telecom companies has started looking at revenue stream from retail service providers encashing on geo-location based services.
The company currently has around 370 employees across its offices located in Bangalore, Mumbai, Gurgaon and Kolkata. The hiring would mostly be in the beginner-to mid-level categories.
TEOCO reported revenues of approximately USD 165 million in 2013 (the company follows January-December period). Around USD 50 million would be from the RAN division.
India operations generate about USD 5 million with over the next two years it was expected to be double, Bhogle said.
