CBI today filed four supplementary charge sheets in connection with its probe in a case related to Pre-Medical Test 2009 conducted by Vyapam, a former body of Madhya Pradesh government conducting professional examinations.
In the first case, CBI took over the investigation from Madhya Pradesh Police of a matter alleging cheating by impersonation in the PMT-2009 conducted on July 5, 2009.
It was alleged that the candidate identified Varun Sharma had appended very simple signature on the documents related to PMT-2009 so as to make it easier for the impersonator to sit in the examination in his place.
The accused had further applied to appear from Delhi centre even when there was a centre in his home town Gwalior.
During investigation, experts were of the opinion that the writing and signatures in the OMR sheet, attendance sheet did not match with the writing and signatures of the accused.
It was also alleged that the accused person had passed MP PMT 2009 by using unfair means in recognised examination with the assistance of a impersonator in pursuance of a criminal conspiracy with others, the CBI said.
The CBI named Somesh Tomar in the second charge sheet for alleged impersonation, cheating and forgery in the Police Constable Recruitment Test- 2012.
The candidate conspired with a solver for appearing in his name in the written examination and based on the result in the written test, the candidate eventually gained employment as a constable in Bhind.
Sunil Kumar and Suresh Kumar were named in the third charge sheet by the CBI alleging that the duo entered into a criminal conspiracy to cheat by impersonation, preparation of forged documents and valuable security, forgery and unfair means in the Police Constable Recruitment Examination 2013 which was conducted by Vyapam on April 7, 2013.
Dinesh Tyagi was named in the fourth charge sheet for getting an employment as a police constable after he had managed to clear an examination with the help of an impersonator.
