Nareshkumar was returning from a bank riding a two-wheeler when the motorbike-borne duo wearing helmets, overtook and intercepted him under the pretext of enquiring about an address.
Suddenly, the two persons threw chili powder on Nareshkumar's face and snatched the bag in which he had kept the cash and sped away from the spot.
On a complaint, Police registered a case and were searching for the culprit.
