Tezpur University wins Sweden India Nobel Memorial Quiz 2014

Tezpur University in Assam has won the Grand Finale of The Sweden India Nobel Memorial Quiz 2014 beating the finalists from 10 cities across India.
The winners comprising Anubhav Joshi, Subhasish Dutta and Ashutosh Dashave have won a weeklong all-expense paid trip to Sweden, said a press release here today.
The 10 city annual intercollegiate quiz competition held at the Hindu College of Delhi University had contestants from reputed colleges and technical Institutes in Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Indore, Kolkata, Mumbai and Pune, the release said.
In Sweden the winning team will get to visit the Nobel Museum, Swedish companies and universities.

Well known Quiz Master Kunal Savarkar hosted the qualifying and the Grand Finale rounds held last week, it said.
The Sweden India Nobel Memorial Week is a multi-city, multi-activity annual event organised by the Embassy of Sweden in cooperation with Swedish companies.
The Week is instituted in memory of Swedish innovator, entrepreneur and philanthropist Alfred Nobel and celebrates the Indian Nobel Laureates as well, the release added.
