Manoj Jaiswal was sitting in his office at Ganesh Nagar after completing his 'Gudi Padwa' (Maharashtra New Year) pooja when he was attacked by three unidentified persons wielding sharp-edged weapons, they said.
The 42-year-old property developer was seriously injured in the attack and died in the way while being rushed to state-run JJ Hospital in Mumbai, police said.
The assailants managed to escape from the spot.

Meanwhile, a spokesperson of Orbit Corporation rebutted the allegations that the firm misappropriated funds.
