An order issued by the Home (Transport) Department of the state government on Thursday stated that Jadhav did not implement various measures meant for the Charoti Check Post of Talasari on the border of Maharashtra and Gujarat.
Charoti was the first electronic toll Naka, which was inaugurated with much fan fare by the government a couple of years back.
The order also stated that Jadhav did not not carry out proper checks against toll evasion and overloaded vehicles, etc which he was expected to do.
