The film's plot takes place in LA where the largest tsunami ever recorded hits the city and causes mass destruction, reported Deadline.
"In this movie I will show the audience a totally transformed vision of Los Angeles. I'm going to transform the iconic city into a bizarre submerged version of itself. Imagine a deadly, watery and deserted version of Disneyland," said West.
Richard Rionda Del Castro and Moshe Diamant are producing the film, which will go on floors in Baja and LA at the end of this year.
