Posting the short sequence of four scenes on Instagram, we see the dark and wild jungle and a young boy standing in the midst of it.
Jon Favreau has directed the film, the latest live action adaptation of a Disney film following the likes of "Alice in Wonderland", "Cinderella" and "Beauty & The Beast".
A new poster for the film was revealed during Disney's D23 conference ahead of its April 2016 release.
The film stars newcomer Neel Sethi as Mowgli, and features the voice talents of Ben Kingsley and Lupita Nyongo.
"The Jungle Book" will hit cinemas in April 2016.
