Aziz and McFarland were so amazed with the five-minute performance by McConaughey in the movie that they wish the actor be honoured with an Oscar award, reported Contactmusic.
"If you could have a Best Supporting Actor nomination for a five-minute scene, he (McConaughey) would definitely have to be a shoe-in for that," said Aziz.
McFarland said, "Martin Scorsese and Ellen Lewis, our casting director, one of their strongest points is bringing the right actors to the roles.
44-year-old McConaughey had a five minute appearance in Scorsese helmed 'The Wolf of Wall Street' which stars Leonardo DiCaprio in lead and released in December last year.
