Thieves decamp with ATM machine of a nationalised bank

Unidentified persons allegedly uprooted an automated teller machine (ATM) of a nationalised bank located at Mahatma Gandhi memorial here, police said.
The incident occurred in the wee hours Sunday when some unidentified persons entered premises of the ATM and decamped decamped with the machine containing Rs 2.80 lakh, police said.
The culprits also sprayed black paint over the CCTV cameras installed at the kiosk, police said.
Prima facie it appears to be a handiwork of 4-5 people, they said.
A case has been registered in the matter, they said.
