Thirty people were hurt, many of them seriously, when a man threw a grenade in a night club in the northwestern Bosnian town of Velika Kladusa, police said.
"Many of them are seriously injured and one person's life is in danger," a police official told AFP by phone.
A device believed to be a hand grenade was thrown in the midst of a club "filled with people," he said. Police later said it was a hand grenade.
Police said they arrested a young man with a police record who had allegedly thrown the grenade, but added his motives were still unknown.
