Thoor dal, wheat prices rise at wholesale foodgrains market

Prices of thoor dal and wheat rose while those of other commodities ruled steady in the wholesale foodgrains market here today.
Thoor dal moved up by Rs 100 per quintal to Rs 8,700 from its yesterday's closing rate of Rs 8,600.
Wheat showed an upward trend and moved to Rs 2,750 from its previous rate of Rs 2,700, an increase of Rs 50 per quintal.
Urad dal, moong dal, gram dal, sugar, maida (90 kg) and sooji (90 kg) prices ruled steady.
Following are the wholesale rates of various agri commodities (in Rs per quintal, except where stated otherwise): Thoor Dal Rs 8,700, Urad Dal Rs 8,400, Moong Dal Rs 9,500, Gram Dal Rs 4,900, Sugar Rs 2,800, Wheat Rs 2,750, Maida (90 kg) Rs 2,400 and Sooji (90 kg) Rs 3,000.
