Thoor, urad dal prices fall

: Prices of tur dal and urad dal decreased today while prices of rest of the commodities ruled steady in the wholesale foodgrain market here today.
Tur dal closed the week at Rs 10,700 less by Rs 500 per quintal from its closing rate of Rs 11,200.
Urad dal was down by Rs 300 per quintal to Rs 10,200 from Rs 10,500.
Moong dal, gram dal, sugar, wheat, maida (90 kg) and sooji (90 kg) prices ruled steady throughout the week.
Following are the wholesale rates of various agri-commodities (rates in rupees per quintal, unless stated otherwise): Tur Dal Rs 10,700, Urad Dal Rs 10,200, Moong Dal Rs 7,200, Gram Dal Rs 11,800, Sugar Rs 3,900, Wheat Rs 3,000, Maida (90 kg) Rs 2,700 and Sooji (90 kg) Rs 3,400.
