Nearly 3,000 people took party in the marathon, which from flagged off by Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha national president Anurag Thakur.
The 5-km marathon was from Satwari belt to Press club.
Thakur said it was a true tribute to Sardar Patel on his 63rd death anniversary and praised the people for turning up in large numbers.
