On the night of July 3, Vikas Sharma, in his mid-thirties, was allegedly stabbed to death for not repaying Rs 10 lakh that he had borrowed from one of the accused, Neeraj Sharma, four years ago during councilor's elections as his wife was contesting for the same post, police said.
Neeraj along with his associates had heated argument and scuffle with him and in a gush of rage stabbed Vikas, who was declared brought dead in hospital, they said.
Police have recovered three knives and a car which were used during the offence, he said.
The three have been sent to jail after interrogation, Patil said.
