Three arrested for forcing teenage girl into flesh trade

Three persons, including two women, were today arrested here for allegedly forcing a teenage girl hailing from Uttar Pradesh into prostitution.
The 16-year-old, who hails from Varanasi, had come alone to Jaipur for treatment a couple of weeks back, said SHO Prashant Kaushik.
During her stay in the city, she befriended with a woman named Doli and started putting up at her house, he said.
A few days later, Doli sold the girl for Rs 20,000 to one Ramratan of Bikaner, who brought the girl here and forced her into flesh trade, Kaushik said, adding that Ramratan's wife and a woman from Mumbai were also involved in the matter.

The girl, however, managed to escape from their captivity and informed the police of the matter, following which Ramratan, his wife and the Mumbai woman were arrested.
While efforts are on to track down Doli, arrangments are being made to send the girl back to her hometown, he said.
