Three arrested for murdering snack vendor

Three persons were arrested here today on charges of murdering a snack vendor at Vasiapuram, 45 km from here, police said.
Sudhakar (50) who was selling snacks on a bicycle was fatally assaulted by the inebriated trio two days back after an argument over not paying money for the food they purchased.
Hearing about the incident, Sudhakar's wife rushed to the spot and with the help of locals, too him to the Pollachi Government Hospital.
After first aid, he was admitted to the Government Hospital here last night. However, he died on admission, police said.
Based on a complaint from the woman, police traced the whereabouts of the trio and arrested them today.
