Three arrested with drugs in Haryana

Two women were among three persons who were arrested near Patiala road railway crossing here today after police recovered narcotic substance from their possession.
The trio was held yesterday during a routine check near the crossing when going past the area they noticed some cops and starting running away thus coming under suspicion, a police spokesperson said.
During checking 90 gram of narcotic substance was recovered from their possession, the spokesperson said.
Identified as Bittu, Ramrati and Bimla, the three have been booked under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.
They were today presented in the court which sent the two women on judicial remand while Bittu was sent on day-long police remand where he will be questioned about their other associates, the spokesperson added.
