According to prosecution sources, Rinku alias Rinkal of Maharmai village in Bichwan police station had illicit relations with his aunt, Rajrani alias Raj Kumari which was objected to by her husband, Raj Kumar Bahelia.
On May 22, 2010, when Raj Kumar returned home he found his wife Rajkumari in a compromising position with Rinku and became furious following which the woman and her paramour along with his friend, Ashok throttled Raj Kumar to death.
The son and daughter of the deceased who were witness to the murder deposed in the court against their mother and her paramour nephew Rinku and Ashok.
Additional District and Session's Judge Sunil Kumar held the trio Rajkumari, Ashok and Rinku guilty of the murder and sentenced them to undergo rigorous imprisonment for life and also slapped a fine of Rs 20,000 on each of them.
