Three BJP leaders elected as Palghar ZP committees chairperson

Three members of the BJP and one of Bahujan Vikas Agadi (BVA) won the election for chairperson of four committees of Zilla Parishad leaving Shiv Sena with no position in the committees.
During the elections held here yesterday, BJP's Vinita Kore was elected as chairperson of women and child welfare committee, Dharma Govari of social welfare and health, Ashok Vade of agriculture, while BVA's Suresh Tare was elected as chairman of public works department.
Earlier, last month, BJP's Surekha Vitthal Thetle was elected as the president of Zilla Parishad, while Sachin Patil of Shiv Sena as the vice-president.
