Acting on a tip off, a police team nabbed Vishal Kumar Bhatia, Sanjiv Kuamr and Ashwani Kumar from a house at Atteria locality here and recovered Rs 43,000 and a note book and two lists of their clients, Batala SSP S S Mand said.
They have confessed to being involved in placing and accepting bets from clients across the state on cricket matches. They have been into this illegal activity for the last two years, the SSP said.
However, one of their accomplices, Vijayat Kumar Bhatia is absconding, and a hunt is on for him, Mand said.
