Sheikh Rahim Ali, Sheikh Ansar and Deepak were arrested yesterday near a police booth in front of Akash cinema in Adarsh Nagar on a specific information that they would be visiting the area to sell the stolen jewellery and a LCD television, a senior police official said.
The trio failed to produce the proof of the jewellery and the LCD, following which they were arrested.
"During interrogation the arrested persons said they along with two others had committed theft in different part of the city and the goods were stolen from houses in MCD colony at Adarsh Nagar and Model Town.
While Ali and Ansar are residents of Jahangirpuri, Deepak is belongs to Model Town," said P Karunakaran DCP North-West District.
