Three children, woman killed in road mishap, 25 injured

Four members of a family, including three children, were killed while at least 25 others were injured after the tractor-trolley in which they were travelling overturned in Jhalawar district near here.
Thirty members of former village sarpanch Vijay Singh Tanwar's family were on their way to a temple in Manhorethana town this morning when their trolley overturned in Dangipura area, SHO (Dangipura) Satayanarayan Malav said.
Three children and an elderly woman were killed while 25 others including 16 women were injured, he added.
The deceased have been identified as Kirrantabai (10), Jitendra (12), Sunil (8) and Birdhibai (60).
"The injured were taken to hospitals in Manhorethana and Eklera towns and are undergoing treatment. Some of them were discharged after first aid," the SHO said.

Malav said a case of negligent driving would be lodged against the driver of the tractor trolley.
