Nodal officer of Operation Smile Deputy Superintendent of Police Ran Vijay Singh said within four days, 36 children have been rescued by police from different places.
Fifteen teams have been deputed to rescue the children and each team is headed by a sub-inspector, comprising four constables, he said.
The teams had been dispatched to Chennai, Hyderabad and Kolkata with the records of 120 missing children of the district, the DSP said.
The third phase was re-launched by SSP Dharmendra Singh on 15th June, he said, adding, the operation will culminate on June 31.
