Three drug peddler arrested in Punjab

An alleged drug peddler was today arrested along with his two accomplices and arms were recovered from their possession, police said today.
Acting on a tip-off, a police team today raided a hideout at Attepur drain here and nabbed three persons who were planning to loot people, said SP A S Pawar.
One of the accused was identified as Sukhdeep Singh, a drug peddler. He is a resident of border village Pakiva of Gurdaspur district.
His two accomplices were identified as Karabvir Singh and Amit, Pawar said.
A double-barrel gun, country-made pistols, cartridges and 400 gram heroin were recovered from them, police said.
