Three drug peddler arrested in Punjab
Press Trust of India Batala (Pb) An alleged drug peddler was today arrested along with his two accomplices and arms were recovered from their possession, police said today.
Acting on a tip-off, a police team today raided a hideout at Attepur drain here and nabbed three persons who were planning to loot people, said SP A S Pawar.
One of the accused was identified as Sukhdeep Singh, a drug peddler. He is a resident of border village Pakiva of Gurdaspur district.
His two accomplices were identified as Karabvir Singh and Amit, Pawar said.
A double-barrel gun, country-made pistols, cartridges and 400 gram heroin were recovered from them, police said.
