Three held for smuggling narcotics from Nepal in UP

Special Task Force (STF) of Uttar Pradesh police has arrested three persons involved in alleged smuggling of narcotics from Nepal and recovered Charas worth over Rs two crores from Kheri district.
Prahlad Mishra, Lichari Sharma and Amar Baundyal were arrested by the STF on a tip-off from Kamal crossing in Pallia area of Kheri district last night, STF officials said.
STF also recovered 40 kg of refined Charas, driving licences valid in Nepal, they said.
Mishra has confessed his involvement in smuggling during the interrogation, they said.
