persons were injured when unidentified miscreants threw crude bombs at a furniture shop at busy marketplace near the district collectorate here today.
The injured were employees of the shop, police said adding extortion is believed to be the motive behind the incident.
Following it, shopkeepers in the area downed their shutters and intensified vigil at the entry and exit routes to the marketplace.
