Three killed as machine falls into gorge

Three persons were killed when a machine they were operating fell into a 600-metre deep gorge in Chinyalisaur area of the district, an official said today.
The mishap occurred late last night when the machine was engaged in road cutting work in the area, Revenue Officer Sarbu Shah said.
The deceased have been identified as Birbal Chaudhary from Solan in Himachal Pradesh, Ganesh Chand Ramola and Manish Rawat, both of whom were from Uttarkashi, he said.
