"While two labourers were killed when a four-storey under-construction shop caved in on Maholi Road under Kotwali police station, Brij Mohan (55) was buried alive in Sardargarh village under Raya police station," said ADM Ravindra Kumar.
He though claimed that the incident on Maholi Road could not be called a rain-related one.
Meanwhile, seven houses collapsed in different villages of Mahaban tehsil owing to rain.
"While water logged in six villages has been cleared, seven old houses have collapsed in different villages," said SDM, Mahaban Garima Singh.
"The false ceiling of Gandhar gallery collapsed due to seepage of water. However, the idols in the gallery were not affected," said Assistant Director of the museum SP Singh.
