Forest officials said that all three leopards, two females and one male, were found dead in the fields near Divale village, adding that villagers suspected the leopards died due to poisoning.
An official said that an autopsy had been done and the viscera of all three dead animals had been preserved and sent to the forensic laboratory for further examination.
He added that a case under relevent sections of the Forest (Conservation) Act had been registered against unidentified persons.
