Three NDFB militants killed in encounter
Acting on a tip-off, a police team led by Additional Superintendent of Police Sushanta Biswa Sarma, launched an operation in Salpara area and an encounter followed in which the three militants were killed.
The police recovered an AK-57 rifle, 110 rounds of AK-57 series ammunitions and a 9 mm pistol with several rounds of ammunition from the encounter site.
Combing operations were continuing in the area, sources added.
