"Fed up with financial crisis, Asha Parmar (35) today committed suicide by consuming poisionous substance along with her two daughters Jaishree (9) and Bhavika (4). Before taking the extreme step, she also made her two daughters consume the poisonous substance," Delta 'B' Division police inspector V P Parmar said.
Recently, her husband, Shiva Parmar died of tuberculosis, leaving behind three daughters and a boy, the police said, adding that after the death of her husband, she found it difficult to make ends meet.
"Saddled with the responsibility of three daughters and a boy, Asha who went into a depression, was not keeping well for sometime," her relatives told the police.
Her father-in-law Merama Parmar (63), a resident of Hadanagar, who belongs to the Koli community, informed the police about the incident, police officials said.
