The incident occurred at Raksisthan village soon after the train left Sahebgunj station for Bhagalpur this afternoon.
The passengers were boarding Dhulian passenger train at Raksisthan, which did not have any scheduled stop, when the train which was coming on the other track ran over the three persons, the sources said.
The three died on the spot.
Sahebgunj station manager K P Singh confirmed the deaths and said the district hospital's help was sought to transport the injured person.
