At least three persons, including a 9-year-old girl and her father, were run over and killed and a woman was seriously injured today by a minibus in Odisha's Ganjam district, the police said.
The minibus from Digapahandi was on way to Chikiti when it first ran over a 65-yar old at Kolathia village and then crushed a bike in which a couple and their daughter were travelling, the sub-divisional police officer of Chikiti, Prakash Chandra Jena said.
The person on foot and the man on the bike were killed on the spot while his daughter died on way to MKCG Medical College and Hospital here, he said.
The man's wife is under treatment at the hopsital, where doctors said her condition was serious.
