Three school-children drown

In a tragic incident, three children drowned in a pond in Nimmalapalem area under Kothavalasa police station limits in Vizianagaram district this evening.
The deceased T Karthik (15), Munna Kumar Pandey (12) and Kushid Ahmed (11) had entered the pond for a swim, Kothavalasa police station's inspector G Sanjeeva Rao said.
All three lived in Jindal Nagar. The bodies have been fished out.
