Three sisters drown in check dam in Gujarat

Three minor sisters today drowned in a check dam in a village of Kutch district, police said.
The incident took place at Kankavati village under Abdasa taluka.
"The sisters, who were washing clothes at a check dam in the village, drowned when its water level increased suddenly," a police officer said.
The deceased were identified as Chakuba Alji Sodha (17), Kajal (15) and Ansuya (12). A case of accidental death was registered, he added.
