Thundershowers at few places in Bengal

Thundershowers occurred at a few places in West Bengal as most parts of the state were dry today with no significant rainfall occurred in the past 24 hours.
The MeT department here forecast moderate to heavy rain in sub-Himalayan West Bengal for tomorrow, while the southern districts are likely to get one or two spells of rain.
Diamond Harbour recorded the day's highest temperature in the state at 35.7 degrees Celsius, the Met department said.
Kolkata followed closely at 35.5 degree Celsius with humidity and discomfort factor, as the city recorded 7.8 mm rainfall.
The weatherman has forecast moderate to heavy rain in the sub-Himalayan districts of Darjeeling, Cooch Behar and Jalpaiguri for tomorrow.
There is possibility of one or two spells of rain and a partly cloudy sky for tomorrow in the southern districts of the state, the MeT department said.
