wounded as the bus in which they were riding skidded while racing with another bus in the busy Park Street crossing today.
The incident happened at around 11.45AM when one heavily crowded Howrah-bound bus of route no 34/A picked up speed seeing another bus of same destination (route no 41) near the Park Street crossing, police said.
It was then when in an attempt to save collision with a private vehicle, which suddenly came in front, the driver of 37/A applied break, they said.
"In the process out of around 40 passengers inside the bus three were badly injured. We have shifted them to a nearby hospital and they are undergoing treatment," a police officer said.
