The local MeT office has predicted rains or thunderstorm at places in mid hills for the next two days and rainfall or snowfall in higher hills till April 11.
The sky remained heavily overcast in Shimla and surrounding areas while strong winds and rain lashed the state capital and some other parts of the state.
Keylong remained the coldest in the region with a minimum temperature of 2.4 degree, while Manali and Kalpa recorded a low of 5.0 degree and 6.4 degree respectively followed by Shimla 12.8 degree, Solan 13.8 degree, Palampur 14.0 degree, Dharamsala 14.2 degree, Sundernagar 15.3 degree, Una 17.0 degree and Nahan 19.5 degree Celsius.
