Tigress found dead in MP's Bandhavgarh Reserve
A tigress was found dead in the core area of Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve (BTR) yesterday night, an official said.
The 14-year-old big cat, tagged T-34 by the Forest department, possibly died in a territorial fight, BTR joint director Anil Kumar Shukla said today.
He added that post mortem and viscera reports would reveal the exact cause of the tigress' death.
