"Time is not ripe for return of the community to the Valley", All India Kashmiri Pandit Conference (AIKPC) President, H N Jattu said while giving his presentation to Parliamentary panel in New Delhi.
Kashmiri Pandit organisations presented their stand regarding the 137th Report of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Home affairs headed by Venkaiah Naidu, that also included L K Advani and Navin Jindal among others as its members.
The Home Secretary Anil Goswami and the senior state government officers were also present in the meeting.
Till date no commission of enquiry has been set up to enquire into the reasons for the rise of fundamentalism and terrorism in the Valley, he alleged.
President-Kashmiri Samiti Delhi Rakesh Kaul, in his address made an emotional speech regarding the pitiable condition of the displaced community in the Jagti camp and also the sorry state of affairs of the displaced traders and teachers at Delhi.
He also claimed that the names of many towns and historical places in Kashmir have been changed into Islamic lexicon.
