Time to unite against terror: Archbishop

Against the backdrop of the terror attack at Pathankot air base, the Archdiocese of Bhopal has said that time has come to unite against terrorism.
"Terrorists are trying to destabilise the peace and harmony in the world. The time has come to unite the peace- loving communities, against all kinds of terrorism," Archbishop Dr Leo Cornelio said here last evening while paying rich tributes to the martyrs of Pathankot strike.
Condemning the terror act, Corenlio said, "Some anti- national elements don't want to see the progress of our country. That's why they plan such type of cowardly act."
Congratulating the defence forces for neutralising the cruel intentions of terrorists, he said, "We are proud of our defence forces for their dedicated service to the country, and we place our faith in them."

He also expressed his deep condolence to the family members of martyrs and prayed for them.
Bhopal Archdiocese PRO Fr Maria Stephen, along with several people from the Christian community, lit candles in front photos of brave heroes who sacrificed their lives in the brutal terrorist attack.
Stephen said, "Any sort of violence is against the progress of humanity.
