Tin and nickel firms up

Tin, Nickel, lead, copper wire bar and copper scrap firmed up, and zinc regained marginally at the non-ferrous metal market here today due to rising demand from allied industries and industrial users.
While, copper armiture softened owing to mild offtake from industrial users.
Tin prices spurts by Rs 10 per kg to Rs 1,425 from Thursday's close Rs 1,415 and nickel prices rose by Rs 5 per kg to Rs 775 as against Rs 770 yesterday.
Copper cable scrap, copper wire bar, zinc and lead inched up by a Re per kg each to Rs 362, Rs 390, Rs 201 and Rs 140 respectively.
However, copper armiture edged down by a Re per kg to Rs 347.
