Tin, zinc and copper firm up

Tin, zinc and copper firmed up further at the non-ferrous metal market here today due to stockists buying as well as sustained demand from alloy industries.
While, nickel declined following poor offtake from alloy industries.
Tin surged by Rs 20 per kg to Rs 1,530 from Thursday's close Rs 1,510 and zinc edged up by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 205 as compared Rs 203 yesterday.
Copper cable scrap, copper scrap heavy, copper armiture and copper wire bar inched up by a Re per kg each to Rs 365, Rs 360, Rs 349 and Rs 393, respectively.
However, nickel slipped by Rs 5 per kg to Rs 790 as against Rs 795 previously.
