Tripura unit chiefs of Trinamool Congress and BJP today filed nomination papers for West Tripura Lok Sabha constituency, poll officials here said.
Tripura Pradesh TMC chairperson and former Congress minister Ratan Chakraborty BJP state president Sudhindra Dasgupta submitted their papers to Returning Officer Abhishek Singh.
IPFT candidate for West Tripura Binay Debbarma also filed nomination for the West Tripura seat, the sources said.
Polling will be held in Tripura West on April 7 while the other constituency in the state, Tripura East will go to polls on April 12.
