"This list carries details of the persons who died due to demonetisation such as his or her name and where they died. Till yesterday, 90 persons have died. This is an authentic list," its Rajya Sabha member Derek O'Brien claimed.
He said his party had been preparing the list since the decision was announced.

TMC claimed the maximum of 23 deaths were reported from Uttar Pradesh, 6 were from Maharashtra and 5 each from Rajasthan, Punjab, Bihar and Andhra Pradesh.
A vocal voice against the measure, Mamata had participated in a protest in Delhi with Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, besides holding protest meetings in Lucknow and Patna last month.
